Hello Horizon, Hello Hope

As We Wait 03:44
I am a voice shouting in the silence, Wake up! Wake up! Sing a song! We keep our eyes fixed on the sky as we await the day. We keep our eyes fixed on the sky as we await the day. As we await the day when all is made new, God we will wait. Father, this is our prayer, "Jesus, please come soon." When that day comes, all our hopes fulfilled, We will finally see what we've been waiting for.

I will dry off your eyes. Dry off your eyes. There's no reason to cry. I'll dry off your eyes, everything will be alright. When your world is crashing down all around you, when your life crumbles apart. When your life is a 'life' without the 'F' in the middle, everything seems fake. When all your friends run away, everyone you know isn't real, I will Dry off your eyes. Dry off your eyes, There's no reason to cry. I'll dry off your eyes, when your world keeps crashing down. My child, I've been there, I know what you're going through! I promise things will get better, but until they do, I will Dry off your eyes. Dry off your eyes, There's no reason to cry. I'll dry off your eyes, everything will be alright.
3.
There is a time for everything under the sky. There is a time to live. There is a time to die. It's Not Too Late For You. There Is Hope For You. Before you feel like giving up, Remember everything He went through, Think of all He would do, Remember how much God loves you. It's Not Too Late For You. There Is Hope For You.

about

This is my first ever album. I recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered the entire thing when I was 17 and released it on my mom's birthday of the next year.
I released this album under the name of Hello Horizon for a few reasons, I didn't want to seem pretentious by going by name (it seemed prideful to me at the time, now I think it's just being honest), and I wanted to draw more attention to the actual cause of the music and less attention to the musician.
All money raised by this album goes to a shelter in SE Portland for homeless families that helps the families get back on their feet. This shelter is called My Father's House. My Father's House provides the residents with workshops, childcare, food, and a place to live while the staff works alongside them to help start over. To begin a new day on a new horizon.
We all have horizons like these in our lives, this project, this album is about those horizons.
